On October 21, 2019, this company was sued by the Bureau for Consumer Financial Protection, the State of Minnesota, the State of North Carolina, and the People of the State of California for practices related to their student loan debt relief operation. The United States District Court entered a Temporary Restraining Order on October 21, including an asset freeze and the appointment of a receiver. On November 15, 2019 the court entered a Preliminary Injunction against the defendants, which continued the asset freeze and confirmed the receiver’s appointment. The Receiver has permanently terminated business operations of the following entities:
